Analytical and question solving skills are a requirement for everybody in the workplace. Any way there is much misconception as to what analytical skills precisely are and how the interviewer will interrupt what skills you possess. You do not have to have a doctorate in physics to have good analytical skills. In fact you may not have much by way of educations but still be very analytical. You should never under evaluation how analytical you are. So what is the interviewer precisely trying to find out?
Problem-solving
So you may have a degree in mathematics but you still need to be able to apply law to practice. In the job interview you will need to have some answers prepared about situations you have had an issue that you needed to solve. Some examples are - How did you deal with a question customer, client or employee? How did you deal with a question while production? How do you deal with an employee who quits? Have you ever been given a task that seemed impossible and how did you arrival it? All these are problems that wish analysis to find a clarification and will be relevant in an job interview situation.
Thought Process
If in the interview, you are asked what seems to be a bizarre question, for example, if you are suddenly asked what is nineteen multiplied by nineteen, do not be unnerved. This is a reaction question. The interviewer is more involved with the rejoinder and how you arrived at the answer. With these types of interview questions, they are examining your understanding process and analytical skills. Take your time and be clear how you got to the answer.
